There Are Different Possibilities for Hair Restoration, and a Robot May Be Best

Yes, if you didn’t know, you can now have a follicular unit extraction carried out be a robot known as ARTAS. This is a piece of equipment that carries out a hair transplant on a similar basis to that done by a surgeon manually. It has several advantages to the manual transplant which is known as FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation).
Where an FUT is carried out by a surgeon, he removes a strip of hair at the back of the head and divides it up into follicular units of between one and four hairs. This does leave a scar where the strip was removed. FUE – follicular unit extraction – is done by the robot which simply removes tiny follicular units of one to four hairs from different parts of the head. This leaves no visible scarring anywhere, and you can’t see where the units were removed because they are so tiny.
The robot will also transplant each follicular unit at the exact same height, direction, and angle of any hairs that are in the recipient area. This leads to the increased survival of each follicular unit, and there is also less pain and down time. In fact, many patients who take exercise go back to their usual routines after a day or two.
It Doesn’t Get Tired!
On top of that, the robot never gets tired! When a surgeon is undertaking an FUT transplant, it can take several hours, and naturally he or she can begin to tire. This can mean that hand to eye co-ordination can become variable, which simply does not happen when you have an FUE transplant.
So, an FUE transplant could be the best option for your hair loss, but it may possibly not be. There are other procedures available such as PRP, low-level light energy, and medications, one of which might be better.
