Alert on Current Pandemic
We’re open here at Silicon Valley Hair Institute, seeing established clients and even conducting consultation on hair loss. That said, here is a letter sent by Chief Medical Director Dr. Miguel Canales and Medical Director, Hair and Dermatology, Alessandra Juliano Canales all Institute clients –
As a health care provider, patient safety and well-being of staff and community are our utmost priority. In this unprecedented time, we are deeply committed to keeping everyone safe. We are all in this together.
In light of the evolving pandemic and out of abundance of caution, we have adopted the rigorous guidelines from the CDC and have taken extra precautions to assure patient safety and comfort:
We have modified our protocols to better care for our patients. What to expect from your visit to our clinic:
- We are a boutique clinic. We only serve a limited amount of patients a day to maintain patient privacy and patient-care focus.
- Once a patient checks-in on time, our staff escorts them to a designated room to keep them separate from anyone else. We take patient’s temperatures to screen for signs of illness.
- All common areas (e.g. lobby) are disinfected several times daily to keep them hygienically clean. Every evening our clinic undergoes a deep clean of all high touch items (e.g. door handles, elevator buttons, directory, switch plates, cabinet pulls, file cabinet handles, refrigerator handles, etc.)
- During treatments, all staff wear N95 masks for extra protection of patients and employees.
- Hand-sanitizers are available in every procedure room.
- Additionally, our medical building maintenance (day and night crews), disinfect all high touch areas and high touch items in our office (e.g. door handles, elevator buttons, directory, switch plates, cabinet pulls, file cabinet handles, refrigerator handles, etc.)
