Sadly, Many Women Suffer From Thinning Hair. But New Tech Can Help

Women in the Bay Area – from San Mateo to San Francisco, Burlingame to Piedmont – want to have it all, and who can blame them? A great career. A family. A great love life. A super home. And great hair!female hair transplant Bay Area

Most of those can be achieved, but unfortunately, when it comes to great hair, it is just the luck of the draw. Some women do, indeed, have thick luscious hair. But some also suffer from thinning hair.

Furthermore, there is no logical scientific explanation. If you are a woman suffering from thinning hair you are just one of the unlucky ones. One thing to be thankful for is that women don’t tend to suffer from completely bald patches as men do. But even so, there is probably not a woman on the planet who doesn’t suffer distress as a result of thinning hair.

However, there is some good news and that is that we are in the 21st century and there are some treatments available for female hair loss. One method of treating female hair loss is the use of a hair transplant. This used to be done manually by a hair transplant surgeon, and in many cases it still is.

A Robotic Hair Transplant!

However, today you can have a hair transplant carried out by a robot! There are many advantages to a robotic hair transplant, and the good news is that we have such a machine here at Silicon Valley Hair Institute in Foster City. Rather than removing a strip of hair at the back of the head and cutting it into small hair units of between one and four hair follicles, the robot takes one unit at a time from different parts of the head. This leaves no visible scar whatsoever.

The follicles are then transplanted into the recipient area one by one at exactly the same height, direction, and elevation of the existing hairs in the area. The result is a perfect match. In addition, a robotic hair transplant requires no down time after the treatment.
