Silicon Valley Hair Institute’s Hair Restoration Center is Right in the Middle of the Bay Area!

The Bay Area is big – both in terms of size and population. It covers some 6,900 square miles, and the population is a shade under 7.8 million – that’s up from 7.1 million at the 2010 census. Hair Restoration Bay AreaHowever, fortunately, when you want hair restoration in the Bay Area, Silicon Valley Hair Institute is right in the middle in Foster City, so wherever you are you don’t have to travel very far.

Yes, we do hair restoration for Bay Area clients both men and women.  And yes, we do both male and female hair transplants. And while we are on the subject of female hair transplants, we also do hair transplants “down there”. Fashions come and fashions go, and for several years, women have been encouraged to undergo waxing and remain clean shaven in the pubic region. However, several celebrities – among them Gwyneth Paltrow, Kourtney Kardashian, Lady Gaga, and Cameron Diaz – have begun to go back to the natural look, and many more women now want to follow suit.

Our ARTS robot leaves no visible scarring on the scalp, and the hair will start to grow in 3 – 4 months and will restore the lush natural look permanently.

Eyebrow Transplants: Yes, We Do Eyebrow Transplants

We also carry out eyebrow hair transplants for both men and women. The most important aspect of an eyebrow transplant is to follow the natural direction of the hair very closely. Eyebrow hair grows relatively flat to the skin, in contrast to scalp hair which can grow at an angle of as much as 45° to the scalp. So the most important aspect of an eyebrow transplant is to follow the natural angle of the hair very closely. Only individual hairs can be transplanted, and this means that the hair follicles from the scalp, which can contain up to four hairs, have to be divided up into individual hairs.

Another factor is that natural eyebrow hair only grows for about four months before the hair enters the resting phase and then falls out. The hair on the scalp can grow for between three and seven years, which is why it grows so much longer. This means that the transplanted hair will have to be trimmed every so often in order to maintain the natural look.
