We Can Offer a Hair Transplant Consultation by Zoom or Facebook

Nearly everything has gone online as a result of Covid-19. Many folks in the Bay Area are working “remotely” which means “at home”. Actually, it’s not bad if you can get it. You can work in your pajamas and you don’t have to waste two hours or more every day in a commute.Free Zoom or Facebook hair transplant consultations online and in the Bay Area

However, there are some things that cannot be done remotely, and if you are considering having a hair transplant that is one of them. As it happens, you have to be there in person, and so does the hair transplant surgeon! We haven’t quite worked out how to crack that one yet!

But on a serious note, many people who are suffering from thinning hair feel extremely embarrassed about it and it can have a devastating effect on self-confidence. Certainly, some people accept it and get on with life as normal, but most people find that it affects them, and they need to do something about it. Fifty or sixty years ago there was no answer, but today we have the very latest hair transplant technology that enables hair to regrow and cover those embarrassing balding areas.

A Trained Specialist Needs To Evaluate The Condition Of Your Hair

But as with many things, a hair transplant is a surgical procedure – albeit minor surgery – and that means that a trained specialist will need to evaluate your hair and assess the best procedure for you. That used to mean coming into our office in Foster City here at Silicon Valley Hair Institute in order to let our Dr Canales evaluate your individual situation. This is not something where one size fits all.

However, post Covid-19 we have now introduced a system where you can have a hair transplant with remote consultation.

How does that work?

Well, our hair transplant with remote consultation is done using Zoom or Facebook Live, or perhaps Skype. You can use the camera on your laptop to show Dr Canales the condition of your hair – where the thinning hair is, where there are bald patches, and so on – and he can assess your condition and decide on the right type of transplant for you – all done remotely. It is just as good as being in our office, except that it saves you the journey. And by the way, the consultation is free! No charge. Whether you decide to go ahead or not.

If you decide that you do want to go ahead with the transplant – and most people do – then it is a simple matter to book your appointment. Of course, you do have to come into the office for that.

To book your hair transplant with remote consultation, simply click on the Online Consult link at the top of the page. Remember, it’s free!
